Owning RMF is a lifelong dream for Owner Kate Cameron. For 22 years she practiced Family and Internal Medicine as a Physician Assistant, but in mid-life she has been able to move forward with her equestrian dream. Kate grew up riding at Mount Holyoke and Smith Colleges’ community riding programs taking lessons in huntseat and riding many different horses. Kate got her start in Eventing at Eddy Farm in Middlebury, VT as a young teen and has been hooked ever since. After graduate school, getting tired of riding other peoples’ young and sometimes naughty horses, Kate purchased an OTTB mare named Frank’s Present, the chestnut mare for whom the farm is named.

Currently, Kate competes in Eventing Horse Trials with her beloved Rikki Tikki Tavi (son of Frankie), whom she bred and trained herself. Kate lives on the premises of RMF with her daughter Liza, two dogs, a house cat and a barn cat.
